CF Awareness Month
Supporting people living with cystic fibrosis
Every member of the CF community lives their own unique experience of cystic fibrosis, from parents navigating a diagnosis of their newborn, to those not able to access or benefit from newer treatments, and people who've had a transplant.
A lot has happened over the last 12 months and while significant progress has been made, we’re reminded daily that the challenges of navigating CF can be cruel, and they haven’t gone away.

breathe
the ballet
In a world where kindness can lead to extraordinary journeys, Medhi Angot, a talented dancer and choreographer, created a moving ballet production called “Breathe” over a decade ago.
The purpose of this ballet was to raise funds and awareness for his dear friend who battled cystic fibrosis.
With a deep sense of purpose and connection to CF, ten years later, Medhi brought together a circle of friends and artists to create another beautiful moving tribute to people living with CF.
The ballet video "BREATHE" captures the struggles, hope, and dreams of those living with CF. It honours all those who live with courage and determination and remembers those who have lost their fight to CF.
This isn’t just a ballet video, it is a movement; that the enduring power of art, compassion, and the belief that together, we can create change and make a profound difference in the lives of those facing unimaginable challenges.

Our son will have his own story, this is his cross to bear, but in young, blissful ignorance we carry the weight for now, and if I could forever, I would."
Mum of a child with CF
“CF causes so much destruction and devastation for people affected by it, it is never ending, physically consuming, and soul destroying. While Trikafta is a massive step forward for our CF community, we must wrap our support around families as they continue their tumultuous journey.”
Parent of young adult with CF
The unpredictability of CF means that things can change very quickly and I’ve had to learn to enjoy life’s little moments when things are going well to make up for the times that are more challenging.
